Here is a little something I have put together for the hood enthusiast. I know, I know, it is impossible to find a 37mm hood and right now I am one of the ONLY PEOPLE IN THE WORLD SELLING THEM!
I put the first one on my Sony Hi-8 camcorder and I love it. The hood fits my camera and does not get inside the viewing area even at the wide angle setting. I have included 3 pictures of it on my camera so you can easily imagine what it will look like on yours. It's threaded front and back so you can attach filters to it and of course use the cameras original cap. I thought it best to show it collapsed with the cap on so you can see this is absolutely the ultimate hood.
Using a lens hood is like putting a baseball cap on your camera lens. It is essential for eliminating glare from your photos. Will fit any camera lens with a 37mm front ring. The material top grade rubber which is acid proof and temperature insensitive. The internal baffles absorb all stray light reflections.
The one question I get from running this auction is will it fit "my" Sony camera. Here is a pretty complete and up to date list of the cameras it will fit. If you are still unsure look at your lens. On the front ring there is a symbol with a line going through it diagonally. This is the symbol for Diameter and the size is the number next to it.
